Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Guidewire Rating Engine to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Guidewire Insurance suite, particularly in the areas of ratingpolicy administration, and claims processing. This role will involve interacting with both business and technical teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions that enhance the overall functionality and efficiency of the Guidewire system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to rating, policy administration, and claims.
  • Guidewire Rating Engine: Understand and manage the implementation of the Guidewire Rating Engine to support insurance products (auto, home, commercial, etc.), including customization and configuration.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between business teams and technical developers to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Business Process Modeling: Document and model business processes, ensuring alignment with Guidewire system capabilities and business needs.
  • Test Planning & Support: Develop test cases based on business requirements and assist with testing, ensuring the solution meets functional specifications.
  • Training & Support: Provide support during the implementation and training phases, ensuring end-users understand the system and its capabilities.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the Guidewire system configuration, requirements, and testing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to improve system performance and business operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, preferably with Guidewire products.
  • Solid experience with Guidewire Rating Engine configuration, integration, and support.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products (e.g., personal, commercial lines) and policy administration.
  • Ability to effectively engage with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business AdministrationInformation Systems, or a related field (preferred).
