JOB OVERVIEW : BlitzenX is seeking a seasoned Guidewire Migration QA with deep expertise in insurance technology to lead the strategic alignment of business and technical capabilities for our Guidewire implementation and legacy system transformation initiatives.
Role Overview: We are hiring a Senior QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire Cloud (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter) migrations. This role demands a candidate with deep technical expertise in Guidewire testing frameworks, SQL, and automation, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy and execution for data migration projects across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter on Guidewire Cloud.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and PMs) to define testing scope, acceptance criteria, and data validation strategies
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between legacy systems and Guidewire using advanced SQL techniques.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, migration validation scripts, and automation scripts.
- Leverage Guidewire Testing Frameworks (Gosu, GUnit, Integration Test Framework) for validating configurations, integrations, and rules.
- Create and execute ETL validation and cutover QA checklists.
- Identify, document, and track defects through defect lifecycle management tools.
- Prepare QA reports, traceability matrices, and status updates to leadership.
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies in Agile/Scrum environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on QA experience in enterprise application migrations.
- Mandatory Guidewire Cloud experience, especially with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Certification in Las Lenas Guidewire Cloud is required.
- Strong SQL and data validation skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Testing Frameworks like GUnit, Integration Test Framework (ITF), and SoapUI/Postman for API validation.
- Basic automation experience in tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Familiar with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).
- QA certification (ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
- Familiarity with data migration tools and ETL processes.
