Position Summary:
BlitzenX is hiring a Senior Guidewire Integration Developer with mandatory hands-on experience in Integration Gateway (IGW) to lead interface development and modernization within a Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud program. This is a deeply technical, hands-on role focused on transforming legacy integrations into scalable, compliant, cloud-native services. You'll work on high-priority external and internal APIs across multiple InsuranceSuite applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), ensuring performance, security, and full Cloud Assurance alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and migration of Guidewire Cloud integrations using Integration Gateway (IGW)
Redesign legacy integrations to follow cloud-native patterns: REST/SOAP services, event messaging, plugins, and API orchestration
Own Cloud Assurance remediation for integration tracks, ensuring compliance with security, resilience, and data validation mandates
Define and implement API contracts, endpoint mappings, transformation logic, and message routing strategies
Work closely with Cloud Architects and DevOps to ensure testability, automation, and release readiness of all integration code
Support interface-level triage, performance tuning, and validation in non-prod and pre-prod environments
Author Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, integration specs, and Postman collections for QA and downstream consumers
Must-Have Skills:
Mandatory experience in developing integrations using Guidewire Integration Gateway (IGW) in at least 1 production-grade Guidewire Cloud implementation
10+ years of experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite integration development, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter
Expertise in SOAP and REST web services, event-driven architecture, messaging queues, and plugin architecture
Hands-on experience with Cloud Assurance remediation and integration security best practices (token auth, encryption, validation)
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), GitHub/Bitbucket, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
Proven ability to resolve complex integration issues in a distributed, cloud-native setup
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to external services like payment gateways, document services, CRM, and rating engines
Experience with AWS/GCP-native services: Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Pub/Sub, etc.
Ability to lead interface planning sessions and mentor junior developers in IGW patterns

Location: India or US preferred
Time Zone Requirement: Must collaborate with US Eastern team until 12 PM EST
